Chapter Two – THE SCIENCE OF WHOLE-BEING CONDITIONING

The Foundation – What do athletes and all successful men and women spend their time on?  The basics – building a strong foundation to serve as a reliable reference point.  When there is a problem or an error, we go back to the foundation to correct it; but what would we do if no foundation had been built?  We would keep making the same mistakes over and over, completely unaware of the cause, yet fully aware of the effects. Consequently, we would be unable to correct the mistakes unless or until we were fortunate enough to have someone point out to us where we had gone astray.  Sometimes we would win and sometimes we would lose; sometimes we would get it and sometimes we would not, never quite sure why.  Sometimes we would have good days, sometimes bad ones; sometimes we would make the sale and sometimes we would not.  Sounds frustrating and familiar, doesn’t it?  Like not being in control?  A weak foundation is what causes a person to feel as though everything in life happens randomly without any good reason or higher purpose.

How was your current inner foundation built?  It is the responsibility of all HUMANS IN TRAINING to make sure that their foundation is strong.  We have to continually and consciously work on building and improving this foundation in order to manage our daily lives effectively.  Most people have not even started to understand how weak their foundation is, and that is why they experience life as just a series of random events that are happing without any known cause.

Now consider that a building can be built only as high as the foundation is strong.  If we are to take our life to new and higher levels, where do we need to begin working?

Chapter Four – THE LAW OF LIFE

Life Lessons – Because we are spiritual beings, life lessons are spiritual lessons; we experience them to help us learn to understand our responsibility, role, and purpose.  When we use life’s experiences as our teacher, we learn the true nature of the world and our part in it.  Those experiences become valuable lessons, we appreciate them, and they serve us for our highest good.

As we begin to explore the Game of Life together, I would like you to begin to think of daily life as a giant feedback mechanism – our “training ground”.  Here, day-to-day living is guaranteed to teach us everything we need to grow and evolve, by continually testing us, teaching us, and strengthening us.  Take a moment to reflect on how our body acts as a perfect feedback mechanism that always provides direct and accurate information.  When we exercise, we get results in direct proportion to our efforts, no more, no less.  When we abuse or neglect our body, we become sick or feel pain – clear feedback signals that are the natural expressions of the body.  Our body is so perfectly designed that it also lets us know when there is any disharmony or underdevelopment on other levels, mental, emotional, or spiritual, so that we can make the necessary changes within.  Our body is the warehouse for our thoughts and feelings, and simply cannot tell a lie.  Whatever we feel in our body is our truth.  Disease is our body telling us that something is wrong.  As we begin to see ourselves as students of life, we must make an important connection – just as our body acts as a physical feedback mechanism, life itself is a giant feedback mechanism communicating with us all the time.

Life as Our Coach – As you begin to think of your life in terms of a partnership, it may help to think of the Universe or God as not only your partner, but also your very own personal Coach, always bringing to your attention what is most important for you to work on in your life.  A coach will always be teaching, testing, and helping us to realize our full potential, as well as disciplining us when we need it.  In order to play our best, we need to learn how to listen to and trust our Coach, as well as to understand the process of life itself.

Chapter Five - A PERFECT WORLD

We Are the Problem, Not Nature! – To achieve INNERPower, we must gain insight, understanding, and appreciation of the universal, natural laws that operate in the world we live in.

Understanding our world is acknowledging that you and I are part of an open, dynamic, and intelligent Universe, where conscious purpose underlies everything.  It is the realization that every human being is created in an intricately organized body and that we are the architects of our own destiny.  Most importantly, it is the knowledge of the true relationship that exists between our source and ourselves.

It is a perfect world because in our structured universe, laws of right behavior are part of the universal order.

Question:  Do you really think that you and I are the one exception in the entire Universe, our lives guided only by luck, chance, and coincidence?

We are not an exception.  There are laws, principles, and processes that govern our life, but we have never been taught or shown how to understand them.  They are set up to operate perfectly for each of us.  If we study and understand these laws and learn how to use them, we will live harmoniously with them as co-creators of Life itself and achieve real freedom.

Chapter Six – HUMANS IN TRAINING

We Are Multi-Dimensional in Nature – It is evident that, as humans, we have no real understanding of ourselves or of our importance as part of the Universe.  Our life revolves too much around physical matter; we often forget that we are a multi-dimensional being with not only a body, but also a mind and spirit to manage and take care of.  We have a responsibility to the body – to keep it fit; a responsibility to the mind – to develop its powers; and a responsibility to the Soul – to pray and meditate daily.  As spiritual beings, if we neglect the Soul, eventually our body and mind will also suffer.
